Addie’s Pond HOA Board Member Responsibilities
Please keep in mind specific responsibilities are subject to change. These are generalized roles of each position.
President - sets agenda and runs monthly and annual meetings. The President ensures that the responsibilities of the association are being carried out, this includes communicating official policies to residents, coordinating activities with committee chairs and researching best options for the neighborhood for any problems that may arise.
Vice President - takes over responsibilities of the President if the President is unable to perform them and assists in other Presidential duties including communicating official policies to residents coordinating activities with committee chairs and researching best options for the neighborhood for any problems.
Director at Large - assists President in duties including communicating official policies to residents, coordinating activities with committee chairs and researching best options for the neighborhood for any problems that may arise.
Secretary - keeps minutes of all meetings, records all votes, maintains and utilizes email and Facebook accounts for official communication from the HOA board. The Secretary assists the Board of Directors in other duties as needed.
Treasurer - receives and deposits all money paid to the Association, disperses funds as directed by the Board of Directors which includes paying monthly bills and vendors, tracks spending based on the budget, tracks dues paid per resident and keeps books of all accounts. In addition to these monetary duties, the Treasurer checks the association’s physical mailbox and email for bills and invoices. The Treasurer is also in charge of activation and deactivation of amenities keys and monitoring of the gate system.
ACC Committee Responsibilities
Accepts, analyzes and approves ACC enhancement requests. Monitor general neighborhood aesthetics and issue violations per the covenants. Stay in direct communication with the board as unique enhancements and/or violations occur.
